What free activities can I do in Townsville? Try a 1/2 day trek into Cape Pallarenda Conservation Park.

One of the free activities while staying at Reef Lodge backpackers in Townsville is a trek through Cape Pallarenda Conservation Park, it is situated at the  end of Cape Pallarenda Road, 10 km north of the Townsville city center. About a 5 minute drive or you can walk and is about 8k's along the Pallarenda beach The park is accessible by car. Gates are open from 6.30 am to 6.30 pm daily.
